Your data is yours. We just borrow it to do the job.

Scout Squad is a fantasy football scout you use through AI apps. You connect your league, add Scout Squad to an AI app, and ask it questions there. This policy explains what we collect when you create an account, connect a league, add Scout Squad to an AI app, or buy a Pro pass, and what we do with it. Questions go to our contact form.

You give us: your email and the profile details you choose to add to an account, and anything you send through our contact form. If you gave us your email before launch, we keep that submission.

You connect: when you connect a league platform such as Sleeper, we read the league, roster, matchup, and scoring data needed to answer your questions. We ask only for the access the feature requires.

Your AI app sends us: when you add Scout Squad to an AI app and choose Allow, that app calls Scout Squad on your behalf. We receive the requests it sends, such as the players and decision you ask about, and save the analyses we return to your account. The rest of your chat stays with that app under its own privacy policy.

If you buy a Pro pass: Stripe processes the payment. We keep the pass, its dates, and the amount paid, never your card details.

We observe: basic, privacy-respecting usage — which features you use and whether things work — so we can fix and improve the product.

We use your data to run the product: to answer the questions your AI app sends, to save those analyses to your account, to keep your leagues in sync, to apply your Free or Pro access, to email you when you ask us to, and to measure and sharpen the model. That is the whole list. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not feed your data to anyone who would.

These are commitments, not preferences. They are the same ones we make on our home page:

• We will never run ads against your data.
• We will never sell your data. Not now, not later, not for the right offer.
• We will never become a sportsbook or hand your data to one.
• We will never let an AI pretend to be a person. The Scout speaks as a system; people speak as themselves.

We share data only with the service providers that make the product run — our hosting and database (Supabase), and our payments processor for Pro passes (Stripe) — and only the minimum each needs to do its job. We may disclose data if the law requires it. We never sell it, and we never share it for someone else's marketing.

You can export your data and delete your account from your account settings whenever you want — connecting a league is not a one-way door. You can also remove Scout Squad from your AI app at any time. For any other request, use our contact form.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the product, then delete it on request. We protect it with row-level database security and encrypted connections, and we limit who and what can read it. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong, we will tell you plainly.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for meaningful changes, tell you directly. We will not quietly weaken the commitments in section 04.
